He went on to receive a formal orthotics and prosthetics education from Northwestern University Prosthetic & Orthotic Center in Chicago, IL. In 1983 John joined his father’s company, then, headquartered in Johnstown, with a branch office in DuBois. Three years later, John was instrumental in opening the Altoona office to fill the need for orthotic and prosthetic services in the Blair County area. Today Allegheny Orthotics & Prosthetics consists of 3 facilities, headquartered in Altoona, with branch offices in DuBois and State College.

John’s commitment and firm belief in helping patients reach their highest level of comfort and mobility, while providing quality products and caring professional service, he led his company to be the leader in growth and development in the field of orthotics and prosthetics in West/Central Pennsylvania.
